Correlating CMB maps and weak lensing surveys

With the advant of whole sky surveys of CMB anisotropies and CMB polarization (e.g. Planck surveyor ) it becomes interesting to look for lens signal in CMB maps, and more specifically to look for cross-correlation patterns with weak lensing surveys. Different strategies have been proposed. Either with the temperature properties alone, or with the help of CMB polarization. The idea in this case is that lens effects induce B-type (magnetic type) polarization which otherwise would be negligible at small scales (for inflationary models), These theoretical investigations show that the joint use of CMB maps and weak lensing surveys should provide us with new constraint on the vacuum energy density.
