The SuperNova Legacy Survey (SNLS) is a collaboration between French and Canadian institutes for the detection and the photometric and spectroscopic follow up of Type Ia Supernovae (SNIa) in the CFHTLS Deep fields. Its primary goal is to measure the geometry of the universe using the luminosity distance of about 2000 SNIa.
