The CFHT-LS Very Wide survey will cover 1300 deg^2 spread over the ecliptic area. Exposure times will be very short (few minutes), in g,r and i filters. The main goal is to detect objects with rapid motion.
The main scientific goals are: Kuiper Belt Objects (KBO) in the ecliptic, spatial distribution of KBOs in the Solar System and its implications on the formation and evolution of the Solar System.
