V 4.00 and above

The upload limit for php scripts is fixed by the php.ini configuration file.

The current upload limit has been increased, allowing you to upload up to 256 MB files when editing articles in Administration area.

If you want to modify this limit later, you have to edit the php.ini file.

 1. Move in /etc/php4/apache directory that contains php.ini.
 2. You will have to log on as root.
 3. emacs php.ini. Find the upload_max_filesize directive and modify the value.
 4. Save file
 5. Restart apache (/etc/init.d/apache restart).
