The WIRCAM Deep Survey
The WIRcam Deep Survey (WIRDS) program has observed a sub-section the four CFHTLS deep fields using the WIRCAM near-infrared camera. The WIRDS data has been processed at TERAPIX in association with CFHT and these processed data products are now being made available to registered CFHTLS users from the France and Canada. The data will be released publically world-wide on the 1st of March 2010.
These web pages contain information on WIRCAM-WIRDS data products, including catalogues, images and quality control information. In the current release, only D1 data is being made available. Other fields will be made available in the near future.
Acknowledging WIRDS-D1 data
If you use this data or catalogues in a publication you must include the following text:
Based on observations obtained with WIRCam, a joint project of CFHT,Taiwan, Korea, Canada, France, at the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) which is operated by the National Research Council (NRC) of Canada, the Institute National des Sciences de l'Univers of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique of France, and the University of Hawaii. This work is based in part on data products produced at TERAPIX, the WIRDS (WIRcam Deep Survey) consortium, and the Canadian Astronomy Data Centre.
