Data is a subset of the RC3 previously cleaned. It it composed of 774 galaxies in bands g, r and i, that is 2322 images.

The following steps are applied to images:
 Background substraction and norm;
 Centering (iterative barycenter);
 Rotation and scaling (second-order moments);
 Crop (256x256 pixels);
 Flip (third-order moments).

Images obtained this way are used for PCA. The resulting basis is composed of 1939 non null components and 383 null components. The 30 first components are interesting as shown below. Reconstructions can also be seen. On the left, the original image, on the right, the rebuilt one, using 30 components among 1939.

Results of classification will be given soon.

Les données sont un échantillon d'images nettoyées du RC3. L'échantillon contient 774 galaxies dans les bandes g, r et i, soit un total de 2322 images.

Les étapes suivantes sont appliquées aux images :
 Soustraction du fond de ciel et norme;
 Centrage (barycentre itératif);
 Rotation and mise a l'échelle (moments du deuxième ordre);
 Recadrage (256x256 pixels);
 Inversion (moments du troisième ordre).

Les images ainsi obtenues sont utilisées pour l'ACP. La base calculéee contient 1939 composantes non nulles et 383 composantes nulles. Les 30 premières composantes sont intéressante comme illustré ci-dessous. Des reconstructions sont également visibles. A gauche, l'image originale, a droite, l'image reconstruite avec 30 composantes sur 1939.

Des résultats de classification seront donnés prochainement.
