Dear CFHTLS users,

Following a TERAPIX request and a recommendation from SAC, TERAPIX and CADC are providing some pre-release TERAPIX CFHTLS data to CFHTLS registered users . These "release candidates" are partial datasets (the very wide data are not included). They are delivered to users in order to provide images and catalogues on a fast track basis. They will also be made available more frequently than the official 6-month releases.

The first release candidate has been ready since July 2, 2005 at CADC (CFHTLS pages) and is available to CFHTLS registered users. Note that the Deep and Wide data of the release candidate are the final data sets of the T0002 release and have been checked and validated accordingly. Quality assessment data are therefore also provided.

The full T0002 has been transferred from Terapix to CADC and should be available soon to users. It includes the Wide and Deep data of this release candidate as well as the Very Wide and the Pre-W data.
