9.00-17.00 (talks of 15+5)
First day : 16.00-17.30 reserved for discussions on the future of the CFHT after the CFHTLS
Check that Delphine has reserved the croissants, canteen for 30 Paris resident personns, etc.,
Important to have everything set BEFORE October 1, because Wednesday is Toussaint so most people will be off until Monday Nov. 6.
Panorapix (Anis)
Anis has not been able yet to produce rpm version which works; some work to do on the static libraries. Yannick ask Anis to send an email to Emmanuel for help.
For Thursday, Anis will have produced the catalogue overlay version and tested the printing functionality
PI Programs (Mireille)
Available 03AF01 (Kneib) data is processed with the exception of one image 704888p. README almost done. All data in ftpix ready for delivery. Mireille will ask Jonathan to put the missing image 704888p on ftp anonymous.
No other PI data currently being processed (with the exception of COSMOS which Henry is supposed to do).
QFITS (Fred)
Finished the extraction of five sub images in QFITS
"-subim" option activates this functionality; demo showed by Fred.
Fred will install the latest version on mix7 and pix3 with this extra option. Mireille and Laurent will test.
Fred will now try to implement XML functionality. A progress report will be done next Wednesday (Fred and Yannick)
SPICA (Laurent)
Laurent finished the changes so that SPICA works with both WIRCAM and MEGACAM images and can be used on pix3 for tests.
Working now on moving the QFITS out images
06B has not yet arrived, but requests from CFHTLS users to have W4 data in T0004. Fred will check at CADC if this data has arrived (and has been processed by Elixir)
No new data arrived since the 26th of September (SNOOPIX, data transfer)
Herve has checked the T0003 table; there is a problem with fv saving ldac files with vectors(such a flux-radius); only the first element of the vector is saved. A PERL script is being developed by Fred to better handle ldac2ascii transformation.
Hardware (Fred)
Two new screens have been ordered; still waiting for the devis for Martin's machine (from the ECOSTAT funds).
Remaining 18,000 euros from Terapix used to pay Anthony's PhD. Fred will then use EFIGI funds for the Terapix hardware.
Other matters
First candidate for the TERAPIX post did not take the post;
We must wait for the second person on the list to contact us (deadline 22 October)
Science en Fete "En direct du Telescope Canada France Hawaii" great succes.
Next tera-meeting: Friday 20th October (Yannick is in Garching for the ESO/STC next Monday/Tuesday).
