Tera-minutes of the July 17 2006 meeting

Absent:

- SPICA : (Laurent)

 Data Lo5/L05 on going. Finish on Mix5, still 100 on Mix4. Regarding the Tully' data, Laurent will run SPICA in a standard stack mode, Mireille will transfer .FITS and .head on mix7 and will stack using a image-per-image mode only is SPICA failed in producing good stacks. The Annie Robin data still show many problems.

 SPICA developement: several bugs fixed. Laurent still trying to understand why some output stacks are compressed and some not. Still working on the completness problem in order to understand why some failed (note: fixed by Laurent). The local USNOB-1 seems different from the CCDS one; could explain why SPICA fails sometimes. Fred will download a new USNO and will check the catalogue integrity.

- WIRCam : (Chiara)

 Cosmos is now processed and the data have delivered to Henry. A stack of the Cosmos using the Megacam D2 field header has been produced, so merging WIRCam+Megacam images/catalogues is possible.

 Simard (GOODS data) : J-image processing on going. K-band not processed yet.

 Omont/De Breuck: just starting.

- Software: (Emmanuel)

 SExtractor: XML/VOtable output now available. Emmanuel presents VOTables in SExtractor 2.5 as an example of XML/VOTable tools and functionailities. VO output available with the option -CATALOGUE_TYPE ascii_votable . Can be streamed using the CATALOG_name SDTOUT option. The XML ouput file is obtained using the WRITE_XML Y option (Default=N)

 SWarp: 2 bug found and fixed. Galactic coordinates included. XML/VOtable output will be implemented by Emmanuel soon.

- Hardware and TERAPIX clustr: (Fred)

 The mssing fan to the cosmix UPS has been ordered and arrived today. Will be installed this coming week. The EFIGIX installation is terminaed, except Skycat that doesw not work. Fred will try the old 32-bits binary file on EFIGIX. Similar problem with PLPLOT.

 FCIX2 working.

 Fred remind us the electic power will be cut during 3 days: August 18, 19 and 20. Nothing will run at IAP during this period.

 Fred will look at the SPIP 1.9 in order to envision an implementation by the end of July on TERAPIX. Still Automount to fix.

 The forum should replace the mailing list. Emmanuel will ask Gilles how we can tranfer the mailing list to the Forum and then remove the mailing list.

 Anthony will intall the SVN base for the WEB SVN.

_Other matters (dotproject) (All)

 MyBB t updated.

 The disk occupation check tool need to be installed by Fred.

 Galaxy counts of z-band data in QFITS : Henry has to provide the counts to Fred.

 Webserver QFITS: yannick must ask JC how to proceed to install a public version soon. Still to be done.

 Downloading the new USNOB-1 catalogue: on going. Fred load 66/180 files. But very loong (one week).

 Check common areas between CFHTLS Wide W4 and SDSS: Mathias will do this action for next week.

 W1 u-band extended for Willot. Still pending.. Laurent will prepare the fiels with yannick

 W3 rync for DADC: fred must update the changelog files.

 2 point star correlation function : henry must privide the tool to Laurent.

 EYE: no improvements with the new retina.

 Poster: still needed to provide the IAP logo to Jean Mouette. Poinot provided a cost.

 QFITS: implementation of 5 PNG full resolution image to check the image quality still to be done by Fred.
