Minutes for the terameeting of April 3rd, 2008

MEGACAM T05 operations
 Greg will add an OBJECT field to the database for pre-ingested data in order to allow request based on exposure name (update: done).
 It would be useful to add support for .ahead files during ingestion (proposed deadline: Apr 30). But for now, Yannick will only have to prepare a csv file that will be fetched to the databased by Mathias M. (deadline: Apr 8)

MEGACAM and WIRCAM PI processing
 Yannick and Patrick will define a first LaTeX template prototype based on the Urbaneja problem (deadline: April 15).
 NextGen vs ATLAS99: Mathias S. stresses that NextGen is better for redder stars, which is of importance in the infrared.
 Patrick indicates that images were missing for the Balogh data.
 Emmanuel asks Patrick if he has tried to separate background subtraction in two components: one which does not vary rapidly in time and is restricted to high spatial frequencies, and a second one acting on larger scales and that fluctuates rapidly. Patrick will investigate.
 Henry Joy intends to release the Wirds data by the end of next week.

Developments
 Fred has not anwered yet to Mathias M. on the QFITS configuration syntax. Mathias M. will check with Patrick.
 Patrick can use the new galaxy counts made by Henry on the Cosmos data.
