Minutes for the terameeting of October 13th, 2008

MEGACAM operations: Release T0005

 Mathias S. will check SDSS versus CFHTLS MAG_APER for 2 apertures on the u-band data to check :
 1. changes with seeing,

 2. changes with apertures.

 Patrick will run his completeness tool in one Wide stack, to check everything work, then Mathias S. will run the completeness on all Wide stacks.

 Regarding proper motions, Mathias S. will continue to test SCAMP on Wide data, but in a study phase mode , not for a release. All results regarding proper motions will be sent to teralist and CC:-ed to Emmanuel.

WIRCam operation: Patrick

 Patrick pointed out the issue with the saturation level handling on WIRDS images that turns out to be a difficult task. Need to build up a new retina.

Hardware:

 Following Fred' comments, we go ahead for a 9U Chenbro. Paid using the Ultra-VISTA funds.

 Fred will also order a new Desktop for Mathias Monnerville, in addition to the new Desktop for the new IR CDD engineer.

Project tool:

 Over the next 2 weeks , we will all look at new project tools that includes Gantt Diag. , via the web. Decision: in 2 weeks from now.
