Minutes for the terameeting of September 19th, 2008
Present: Yannick, Patrick, Gregory, Henry Joy, Mathias M., Emmanuel, Fred, Mathias S. (partly, videoconf).
Emmanuel's summary document
Yannick's late summary
MEGACAM operations
Yannick does not want to ingest PI data in Spica2 before the T06 data are ingested (probably not before February 2009).
According to Henry Joy, the offsets seen by the Vipers people are the same as those measured by Mathias S..
Henry Joy will forward the complete information concerning the comparison of the photometry on the stacks and the SDSS (update: done).
Mathias will check once again that individual CFHTLS photometric exposures show offsets with respect to the SDSS similar to those of the CFHTLS stacks (deadline: September 26th).
Yannick will make the SCAMP metadata available during the week-end.
Yannick will have to destroy links to Spica1 metadata while cleaning data on ftpix.
WIRCAM operations
Patrick wants Yannick's advice to make sure that the report to be sent to the PI McDonald is appropriate (deadline: September 26th).
Yannick has already downloaded 300GB of raw and sky-subtracted Wircam data from the WUDS survey. Yannick will ask Roser what is the exact time frame of the survey observations to planify processing (deadline: September 26th).
Henry Joy and Herve will put the priority on reprocessing the WIRDS data.
The last version of GeoDjango (1.0) handles a number of projections. Emmanuel will detail to Greg a choice of projections of astronomical interest (deadline: September 26th).
Yannick will ask Nicole Blondin what is the policy with old machines (deadline: September 26th).
Emmanuel will investigate whether the MKL library is free of use for academic purposes (update: done; according to the INTEL website, unsupported usage is free for non-commercial purposes).
