Minutes for the terameeting of April 10th, 2008
Present: Yannick, Patrick, Gregory, Henry Joy, Mathias M., Mathias S., Emmanuel, Fred (partly).
Yannick's summary document
MEGACAM operations
Patrick will put PI processing report templates and the first reports in private/documents/reports (deadline Apr 21).
Mathias M. will explain to Yannick how to run the zero-point update script (deadline Monday).
Mathias S. will test SCAMP proper motions on the two epochs of CFHTLS data with the help of Emmanuel. This will be possible when the data will be available and "regular" calibration will have been performed.
Yannick will ask Fred to add support for the new 'i2' filter in the QFITS number counts (proposed deadline: Apr 21).
WIRCAM operations
Henry will probably delay the Wirds release by one week (end of next week). According to Emmanuel, the bad calibration diagnostics in Ks are due to contamination by a large number of bright artifacts, which may also be responsible to the magnitude offsets.
Emmanuel indicates that the chi2 of PSF-fitting might help discarding image artifacts in WirCam images.
Mathias M. and Gregory will investigate on how to store vectors (for photometric zero-points essentially) in MySQL.
Spica2 developments
Mathias M. will add a global "active" monitoring tab at the top-level of the Spica2 interface.
System/Hardware
Fred will try to put the Condor spool on RAIDs (deadline 21st).
Yannick will enquire Frederic about system and hardware installation this afternoon.
Next terameeting: Monday April 21st, 10:00 in room 281
