Minutes for the terameeting of October 22st 2007

DataBase T0005 (Gregory):

 Gregory did a quick demo of the Django ingestion interface. He added some new fields (class).

 Gregory has to do similar interface for the users and will focus on the other main blocks: ingestion, QFITS-in, processing and QFITS-out.

 We remind gregory that we grades of each QFITS must be recorded in his data base. Also, we have to be careful on the new naming process: each image ingested in Terapix will have a unique name built from the CFHT (or any observatory) name + an incremental number.

 Henry remind Gregory the two main options: (1) PI "a la carte" ou "Legacy" with room for options in image selection also, but archived smewhere for possible re-processing.

Software (Fred, henry):

 Fred has a version of his script for handling images in Condor ready. He will provide the PERL version to Henry who will do tests over the week. Fred is preparing a Python version.

Hardware (Fred):

 Dead line for PUMA today.

 Hardware (non PUMA) for Emmanuel sent.

 Still Cosmix5 to order as well as misc. hardware.

 Henry send the URL for the new 2.5 GHz AMD quad core processor.

CDD IR Position (Mathias, henry, Yannick):

 We all endorse the summary sent by Yannick about the discussion regarding the operation/developement tasks to share. We are now waiting for Hudelot feedback on availability by Nov. 1 and Emmanuel's return.
