Minutes for the terameeting of March 19th 2007

Emmanuel's summary document

T04 processing
 Yannick will commit to SVN target and .reg files before leaving for Naples (Wednesday).
 All Deep SCAMP and SWarps will be run from SPICA (Henry presently catches files for his verifications while SPICA swarps). Seeing value boundaries will have to be modified in SPICA-Auto.
 Henry did the following changes to SPICA scripts and config files: 2MASS instead of USNO-B1 as a reference catalog, scp instead of rcp, and different search radius and seeing values.
 Emmanuel should check that SWarp writes out to the XML file that headers are flagged (update: it was not the case, done now on SVN).
 Emmanuel will update the scamp -d to add the LOG option (update: done on SVN).
 Yannick will ask Laurent to bring back the plots on the web-page. If Laurent refuses, Yannick and Henry will remove the rm at the end of the script and try to uncomment the PNG copy lines.
 All D1 stacks with 25% best seeing have been processed.
 Yannick will ask Laurent how to reset the status of stack lists when he sees Laurent. The FAQs wil be updated accordingly.
 Yannick will send Emmanuel a new selection of W1 without the pre-W1 fields (update: done).
 Fred will ask J.J on Wednesday why the flatfield "e" pb has not been spotted at CADC before. Fred will fix the "e" pb before Wednesday.
 Henry will write a small Perl script that examines the "P" flag and the skyprobe values and creates the .ahead files for all W exposures.
 Yannick suggests to make a test run with a W1 field.
 Fred suggests to fool SPICA by using a fake SCAMP that copies .aheads instead of computing them. Fred, Henry, Fred and Yannick will meet this afternoon to organize the whole thing.
 Dumps to CADC have been completed. Fred says that a move to md5 at CADC is likely within the next 6-12 months.

MEGACAM P.I.
 Emmanuel suggests to Mireille to make a linear stacking and a large (5'') MAG_APER comparison.
 Chiara, Mireille and Henry should finalize the README blurb this week.

Software development
 Fred agrees with the clickable map approach to QualityFITS "corner zooms". Mireille kind of disagrees. Waiting for Yannick's input on this.
 Fred has started to make a census of SPICA filters and will update the SVN accordinly.

Management
 4-month position for an operation guy/girl: Mireille worries about the time it takes to train a CDD.

WIRCam processing
 Henry has forgotten his passwd to Hawaii to try to recover the config files related to the LDACs. Henry asks Herve to sort it out.
 Chiara complains about the inconsistencies between the different exposures send by Loic (variable image format and characteristics). Part of the problem lies in the fact that PIs ask Loic to reduce their data in a hurry; and Loic does what he can with what he has. This way of working is incompatible with pipeline operations.
 Chiara mentions a problem with LDAC vectors in fv. Emmanuel will investigate.
