Minutes for the terameeting of June 4th 2007

Emmanuel's summary document

CFHTLS T04 processing
 Mireille found out that no new photometric fields were found in W4, so no stack from this field need to be redone.
 Emmanuel will deliver an ldactoasc today or tomorrow.
 Yannick and Henry will be away at the beginning of next week. The completion of T04 will be supervised by Mireille, Fred and Mathias.

Software developments
 The 20th of June is set as a deadline for Gregory to present an operational trail detector on MEGACAM images.

Developments for T05
 An approximate deadline of end of June has been set for laying down the architecture of the new pipeline, installing and configuring Condor, defining the main database fields, designing the tiling system and to distribute the main development tasks to developers.
 The presence of Fred is required for discussing further the issues related to Condor installation and configuration.

Hardware/system
 The origin of the mix10 I/O slowdown is still unclear. In any case we will wait for the current stacking to be finished before taking action.

Miscellaneous
 Chiara suggests to make the guidelines concerning processing requests more visible in the relevant web sections.
 Chiara may leave TERAPIX early 2008 if she is offered a permanent engineer position in another lab. Yannick insists on the fact that one should make sure that her know-how is not lost. Actually Chiara's WIRCAM documentation already contains a cookbook section, but Yannick has not read it yet.

 Henry will present the result of the scientific comparison between COSMOS and TERAPIX before the end of the week.
